So many parents today feel they’re starting at a deficit. There must be some right way of being a great parent, and they must have just missed the memo! In this session educators will learn how to help parents become attuned to their inner soul voice that will guide them to become the parents their children need them to be.
Do you ever feel like things are spinning out of control at home or the classroom? Do you feel like the physical chaos of never being able to quite ‘contain’ the mess? Are you experiencing the emotional strain of each child going through ups and downs and never knowing quite how to respond? In the first of this two-part series, we will be inspired by Jewish wisdom that will give us a new perspective on chaos. (Part 1 of a two-part series, or stand-alone session)
Cultivating presence in our multi-tasking world can be a struggle for many of us. In this session, we will explore how Jewish wisdom inspires us to expand our notion of what can happen when we bring our full presence to the people whom we are closest to. We will learn simple mindfulness exercises that you can practice alone and with your children. (Part 2 of a two-part series, or standalone).
